Slovenian tenor Uroš Petrač studied with teachers Tatjana Vasle and Doroteja Cestnik- Spasić at the Conservatory of Ljubljana.
In 2002 he won 2nd place at the Grand Prix singing competition of Slovenia.


In 2003 Uroš continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where he studied with teachers Rita Dams and Barbara Pearson.  He graduated from bachelor in 2008 and masters in 2010. Uroš was a member of the ensemble of the Dutch Opera studio for season 2012/2013.


His repertoire reaches from opera, oratorio and lieder to old music. In Slovenia, Germany, United States, Ireland and South-Korea gave Uroš various concerts such as Bach's cantatas and masses, Mozart Requiem and "Spatxzenmesse", Bruckner's Requiem and Uriel in Haydn's Die Schopfung.
He also performed as Bastien in Mozart's Bastien und Bastienne, Monostatos in Die Zauberflote and Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, page in Verdi's Rigoletto, Nemorino in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, Orpheus in La descente d'Orphee van Charpentier,  Linfea in Cavalli's La Calisto, ... In 2013/14 Uroš was also a member of the young ensemble of Rotterdamse Opera Dagen.

In 2015 Uroš sang at the production Zingen bij de Opera - Nationale Opera in Amsterdam in the Mozart's Die Zauberflote, where he debuted with the role of Monostatos.
